EVS is highly renowned as the most important conference and meeting place for the EV industry in the world. The conference gathers policymakers, representatives from industry, relevant research communities and NGOs, and is the most important international networking arena for stakeholders globally.

The EVS Experience

The International Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS) is the most traditional electric vehicle symposium/forum/exhibition fair in the world and the leading international event to address all the electromobility issues. 

Over 50 years of activity, EVS has grown and developed into an event that is both academic, with over 500 papers being discussed, and business-oriented, with several thousand square meters of exposition, ride & drive, etc. 

The 35th edition in Oslo will gather:

  • 3 programs: Scientific & Industrial/Political, Avere E-mobility Conference (AEC2022) and the Nordic EV Summit (NEVS)
  • 2500 Conference delegates from the scientific community, policy makers and from the Car,- Charging,- Battery and Energy industries as well as relevant research communities and NGOs, for stakeholders globally.
  • 20 000 sqm. exhibition area including ride & drive and other activities

EVS attendees have access to

  • Presentations that will cover cutting-edge electromobility products and research. The entire program will be based on peer-reviewed papers (scientific symposium) and market development presentations (AVERE E-Mobility Conference – AEC).
  • The Scientific Symposium counts 3 plenaries and 100 oral and poster sessions.
  • The AEC program encompasses 7 keynote sessions and 3 plenary sessions.

Exhibition

The exhibition floor 

  • Hosting 300+ exhibitors, and the Ride, Drive & Charge (indoor and outdoor circuit, presenting all sorts of electric transportation) are open to the general public on Saturday and Sunday. 
  • The expected high attendance will allow exhibitors to directly engage with the general public and the local governments to raise awareness of the advantages of electromobility.
 

About the organisers

EVS is organised by AVERE, EDTA and EVAAP, the three members of WEVA (World Electric Vehicle Association).
The EVS series rotates between Europe, Asia and America.
The 35th edition is hosted by AVERE and organised by the Norwegian EV Association and NOVA Spektrum.

Norwegian EV Association

The Norwegian EV association represents over 85.000 electric car owners in Norway. The association cooperates with the Norwegian government, the electric car industry, charging operators and other organizations to speed up the transition to electric mobility. And also promotes Norway as a best case for electric vehicles policy to Europe and the rest of the world.

NOVA Spektrum

Norway Convention Center is a full-service exhibition & conference center. We offer all our exhibitors all sorts of stand equipment and furnituring, and also a design department offering individual design solutions. Standard products and services may be found in our product catalogue. Norway Convention Center is a modern venue located midway between the airport and Oslo city centre. Together with the onsite Thon Hotel Arena and Scandic Lillestrøm the center can offer up to 64 meeting rooms of different sizes, as well as additional exhibition space (appx 40.000 sq.m).

AVERE

AVERE The European Association for Electromobility (avere.org), founded in 1978, is a network of members from industry, academia, EV users and anyone working with policy related to the electrification of transport. Work across these sectors guided by an electromobility vision for Europe with four pillars: a strong electromobility industry, clean, quiet and healthy cities, energy-efficient transport, and independence from fossil fuels.

WEVA

The World Electric Vehicle Association consists of three regional organizations – the Electric Drive Transportation Association (EDTA), the European Association for Electromobility (AVERE) and the Electric Vehicle Association of Asia Pacific (EVAAP). These three international associations promote electric vehicle concepts and policies in their respective regions. WEVA organizes the International Electric Vehicle Symposium (EVS) series.
