Jean-Christophe Mercier has a wealth of experience spanning a broad cross-section of the global automotive industry, from Automobiles Peugeot and Volvo Trucks, to Toyota in Africa and Nissan. He most recently held the position of President Nissan Automotive Europe and has joined VinFast to help develop an outstanding customer experience that supports its launch into Europe.
In recent years, Mercier has focused on redesigning traditional business processes to work optimally alongside more widespread adoption of electric vehicles. He has also led programmes that aim to enhance sustainability, develop and implement corporate social responsibility schemes for electric vehicles.
A keen photographer, Mercier holds a Masters in Logistics and Business Administration and speaks French natively, and is fluent in English. Jean-Christophe Mercier will be speaking at the Official Closing Ceremony, Wednesday June 15th 13.30-15.00 pm.
