Jon Helsingeng is the Nordic zone leader for Eaton, a power management company. Jon is responsible for Eaton’s Electrical business in Nordics – overseeing sales, marketing, and day-to-day management.
He joined Eaton in June 2012, initially as the Norwegian country manager.
Before joining Eaton, Jon had a 30-year career in the Oil & Gas and Marine segments. He has been Managing Director for Honeywell and sales director in companies such as ABB and Kongsberg Maritime.
He has also previously headed up TTS Offshore Solutions (now part of Macgregor), a company delivering handling systems for offshore vessels and oil rigs, and with production sites in Norway, Poland and China.
Jon is also Chairman of the Board of EFO – The association for electrical suppliers and producers in Norway.
In his work today he is particularly concerned with the electrification and energy optimization of society. Jon wants to contribute to a more environmentally friendly Nordics using green technologies.
He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from NTNU Trondheim and an MBA from NHH Bergen. He is based in Oslo, Norway.
