Bjørn Utgård is a cleantech entrepreneur and advisor whose 18-year international career is committed to accelerating the transition to zero-emission energy and mobility. Holding an MSc in Energy Engineering and Economics from NTNU (Norway) and Kyoto University (Japan), he takes an interdisciplinary approach to diagnosing the problem, devising solutions, and driving change.
From 2017 to 2021, Mr Utgård was Director New Markets and VP Sales at EVBox, playing a pivotal role in transforming the 50-people Dutch EV charging startup into the global EV charging champion. Other experiences include multiple successful cleantech ventures, climate policy design, techno-economic due diligence, and business strategy advisory. He has lived and worked in Norway, Netherlands, Costa Rica, Japan, USA and Uganda, and visited more than 60 countries.
