Ingrid Dahl Hovland is a civil engineer from the Norwegian University of Technology (today NTNU), specializing in rock and construction technique. She worked as a construction manager for 10 years in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration in the 1990s. She has held management positions in Selvaagbygg, Veidekke and Spenncon AS, and became the first managing director of Nye Veier AS when it was established in 2015. She was appointed road director in October 2019.
