Koen van Eig is working in the New Business Development team of the Port of Rotterdam. This team initiates and pushes forward some of the major decarbonization projects in the Netherlands. Koen’s focus is on making supply chains sustainable. In this role, he has been involved from the start with an exciting opportunity to propel container vessel with battery containers: Zero Emission Services (ZES).
Koen has a background in business economics and has pursued an international career for 20 years as business manager within AkzoNobel. After a tenure as director-owner of a manufacturing company, he founded Darel Consultancy with a group of likeminded professionals. Darel is a dedicated energy transition consultancy firm.
